Siesta blinds are made of dirt-resistant polyester with a special aluminium backing on the back to retain heat in the room in winter and reflect solar heat in summer.

The sides of the blind run in close-fitting guides to ensure effective light exclusion.

Siesta blinds can be bought in three versions:

• Remote controlled electrical blind (suitable only for INTEGRA)
• Remote controlled solar blind. No wiring necessary, so it is suitable for all windows - also pre-installed manual windows.

Why block out the heat?

For rooms directly under the roof, reliable sun screening is vital because the roof receives more direct sunlight for a longer period than the vertical walls of the house. By adding a flexible yet strong aluminium backing on the back of the fabric, solar heat will be partly reflected away instead of being transmitted through the cloth/slats.

All Siesta blinds come with Aluminium coating as standard.
